Our founder, Sonya Etchemendy and her husband Dennis will help you discover your full potential. While Sonya’s expertise is personal growth, business building, and public speaking, Dennis’ background is construction. What ties them together? The importance of high-quality Customer Service and Leadership! Sonya and Dennis agree that a group or business working as a healthy team with quality leadership will not only be a solid foundation for growth, but can improve a company’s bottom line. Whether it be on a personal level, within your family, a business, church or any community event, we at Etch Your Life want to help you set and reach your goals!

Sonya is a licensed Leadership Trainer, Keynote Speaker, Business Coach and has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA). She is also an Executive Director for the John Maxwell Team. Sonya spent an entire career with the Federal Government in various positions which emphasized leadership training, customer service, team building, public speaking, and personal growth. Dennis has been in the construction business for over 40 years. After getting his start in the military, he worked 20 years for heavy construction companies and operated all types of heavy equipment. He achieved the level of General Superintendent then went on to start his own concrete pouring and diamond cutting business for the next 12 years.
As owner of the company, Dennis worked right alongside his employees. Dennis thinks it’s important to have a technical skill set which is not only up to standards but is also directed at meeting the customer’s needs. When he hears people say, “We do it that way because it’s just the way we’ve always done it,” he sees that as an opportunity. Dennis believes it’s best to have skilled workers to learn the importance of unlearning, then relearning so that the best, most efficient skill set is provided to customers.
